I'll start.
My 7 yr old daughter had her first dance recital last night (she did great btw, very proud daddy here). The studio showcased dancers from all their classes, from wee little ones barely able to follow their instructors, some good ol' clogging led by a couple of state champion level girls to 2 pre-teens who stole the show with their hip-hop routine. But I digress.
BTW this is in no way a complaint, just an observation.
I never thought I'd ever see ballet danced to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Yup the pointe class tippy toed to Freebird, very well I might add.
Made me wish I still smoked so I could hold my lighter up.
