i want to think everyone for their prayes , my mother went home a few minutes ago. again thank from my heart. I just saw this, Roger. I am sorry that you have lost her here, happy that you will see her again and that her suffering is over. My prayers go out for you and your family as you grieve her. She was a beautiful woman and raised some great people. Ed

She is no longer in pain and is with God now. My mother was and is the heart of my family. Everything that is good in myself and my family is because of her. Everything that I will ever do with the rest of my life that is good will be because of my mother and her character that she passed on to me. All my strength and will power that I have had in my life comes from my mother and the strength she passed on to me. Love is not just words. "Love is demonstrated." And as far as my life is concerned nobody ever demonstrated how much she loved me and my family more than my mother. She was selfless, sacrificed everything for us, always forgave, and never held a grudge against any person ever. She would help anybody if she was able to. Everyone who ever met my mother always talked about how sweet my mother was. My mother was a retired Registered Nurse who loved helping and taking care of people. Our legacy that we leave behind is not about money, how much material possessions that we accumulate which are only temporary. Rather the legacy that we leave behind is "How we treated people and how we loved one another." I will never measure up to my mother but I will live my life as best as I can to be inspired by her example. I love you Mom. You live in my heart and I will see you in Heaven some day. I know that you can see me now always. 2nd Corinthians 5: 1-8 "For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this tent we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling if indeed, when we have taken it off we will not be found naked. For while we are still in this tent, we groan under our burden, because we wish not to be unclothed but to be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. So we are always confident; even though we know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we do have confidence, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

It will be something that will stick with you but it get better, hang tough. Prayers for you and the family.

How can we be sad about a loved one going home to the Lord? We should celebrate with tears running down our cheeks. I'm sorry you're having to go through this, Roger, but happy that your mother's ordeal is over.

I'm sorry I hadn't checked back on this and I failed to realize that your Mother crossed over, Roger. I was always encouraged by the bible verse that reminded me, not a sparrow falls from the sky, that God does not know about.
Your Mother sounded like an amazing woman and Mother. May God bless and keep her and give your family the peace that only He can give.
