Old Branford Davis was out in his yard one day when I came along with my new dog. Branford was the local dog expert and hog scraper who lived down the road,...usually drank a fifth of whiskey before dinner time,... I asked him,.."What kinda dog is this?" "Looks like a chit eater to me", he says. I never asked again.

A neighbor of mine bought an Irish Wolfhound pup a few years ago and it didn't look anything like what you'd think an Irish Wolfhound pup would look. That's how it is with lots of pups. Some go through drastic changes during their first year. Example: This is my Drahthaar pup at 8 weeks... 12 months later...
