Should you have a minimum of cognitive resources at your disposal it would be obvious I stated my opinion as requested by the op. It should also be obvious it is you whom felt it necessary to argue anothers opinion; a field of intellectual endeavor suited only to an absolute fool. Beyond being of little constructive benefit to argue with a fool, it also becomes difficult to tell who is who after awhile, so Ill let you continue to hold that well deserved spot light. Carry on with your corrections of others opinions and experiences, no doubt the practice has led to your gleeful display of limited intellect that you wear so well. Happy rambling.

I fully expect you'll respond with more Wikipediaisms and indignation. You're right on cue, Dick -- Should you have a minimum of cognitive resources at your disposal it would be obvious I stated my opinion as requested by the op. Wikipedia has spoken!!!!
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum. I do tend to fit in well wherever I go in person. The campfire is the most outside exposure I get. No TV, no newspaper.

Those boys are not well connected hell they are slopers and get [bleep] house lucky drawing tags. Nice guys how they schmoozed into getting a forbes rifle is beyond me... As Bricktop says buy a left handed ruger and call it a day. $569 bucks for a rifle you know that will shoot or a forbes rifle that you will have to send back because apparently it is a pile of [bleep]. Me I have my l/h model 70 classic sporter in a 270 and man that thing is a shooter. I need to get em on eof those lefties rugers in a 06 send it off to JES and get it rebored to a 9.3 or 35 whelen.

Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

Now, that would be the chit right there. I'd love to have a lefty 9.3x62mm! Probably built on a lefty New Haven classic stainless though.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Thanks Tmitch, I hope my gunbroker registration comes in as that looks like a cracker. I'd love another model 70, my 404jeff is my favourite gun I have here.
Regards, If you like the Winchesters, there are a couple other LH M70s on Gunbroker, but not in standard calibers. However I'm sure they would fill the bill. Almost $2K for that '06 was a bit much. For the difference in price for these you could buy a bunch of ammo http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=421195990http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=420883952

If I had 1/2 of bricks knowledge I would make a recommendation. Buy the best fit and Finnish you can and spend extra on glass! Shoot more than you think you need too and hunt hard.
All the best
