My new to me F350 is SOOOOO comfortable. The cooled leather seats really cut down on the swass.
16.6mpg round trip. 6.2 gas with nothing being pulled. I'm not disappointed with that either. Wow. That's impressive WB. Sorry your trip was a total waste of time and money though. You never really can trust those kids from WI. As soon as I saw the "go packers" sign, I knew it was a bust.

We'll leave that one alone on here. It wasn't a terrible machine but it was misrepresented.

I had a couple of overgrown spruces in the yard fairly close to the house. Wife wanted them gone and so they're history. Now I got a couple of stumps that I've been chopping the roots for a few days now. These things have a heck of a tap root. Hooked them up to the truck and they barely budge. Any ideas how to get em out? And no, I don't own a Cat. Or dynamite.

Just got back from Canada fishing fellas. Good trip. Took my twin 6 year old boys. They did great! Biggest pike I caught was 40" and the biggest walleye my dad was the lucky angler at 28". Boys both caught 32" pike and 22" walleyes. Lots of fish, lots of 20"-25" walleyes. I got a 38.5" pike on a jig. Saw moose and bear up close. Great time was had by all. Tired though! Pics another time.

To kill small tree stumps, drill a couple of large (3/4")holes about 4" deep in them and periodically fill the hole with Roundup concentrate. It will permeate the roots and kill it all. I went to a gun show yesterday in Columbia,SC. Brought home a Handi rifle in .223 with the extra .410 barrel.Neat little gun.

I tried that years ago on a Elm stump using a different product Stan. Don't recall the product, but it was advertised for stump removal. Took about 5 years but the stump finally came out like a loose tooth.
Question for you Stan. Any idea who made the choke tube for the TC 410 barrel? Not the 45/410 barrel but, the 22" actual shotgun barrel. I'd like to find a more open choke for my grandsons TC 410.

I would just cut it off flush with the ground and wait a few years beforedigging it out, let time and ma nature take care of it. maybe drill some holes in there so water can work at rotting it some.

I did the exact same thing with two big pines in my front yard. I hired a guy out of the classifieds with a stump grinder. He lives 60 miles away and only charged me 100 bucks. I had everything gone and seeded into lawn in 2 days. It was well worth it

Grizzly Bill, the Handi rifle is made by NEF(Harrington&Richardson) not by TC. It has no choke tubes. It is chambered for up to 3" and has full choke.

Seed your grass the next day.

Thanks guys. I do like the cut off flush and wait idea, but the wife? Not so much. Stump grinder it is. My arms are so sore from chopping, I can't lift them high enough to pick my nose.
