Yokohama Geolander H/T-S or
Cooper Discoverer HT.
265-75-16 load range E.
I am hearing some Coopers are still made here. I'm pretty sure the Yokohama is not. Both tires are customer rated about the same and the price will be the same. I've never used either brand and my truck now has Hankook tires. They didn't wear very well at all. So who has experience with either of these brands and any other recommendations? The price on these is $776 OTD. I didn't want to spend much more than that if I don't have to.

I'm about 20k into my discover AT3's, and I'm impressed so far. I'm running mine on a Dakota. They're probably going to wear faster on a heavier truck, especially if you're towing with it.

I had a set of Yoko Geolanders on my old truck. Don't recall having any major issues with them.

Here's a recent thread that's worth checking out if you haven't already read it:

Yokohamas and coopers both get run pretty hard on our work trucks with few issues and good use from mud to snow.

My work truck has the yokos and I certainly dont have any complaints. My personal truck until recently had coopers which did great, although one went out of balance with a good 10,000 miles left on it at least.. I replaced them with the yokohamas because I got a screaming deal on them through discount tire direct on ebay..

It looks like I can't go too wrong with either brand. Thanks

Just put a set of those on my 96 F250. Replaced a set of BFG ATKO I wore out on gravel roads

I've tried several brands. Keep coming back to Cooper. They seem to be the most tire for the money. I've had a set of AT3's on my Tacoma since January. Best Coopers so far. We had some HT's on a Grand Cherokee several years back. No complaints.

My 2004 F-250 is running on the original (10 year old shocked ) set of BFG Rugged Trail tires. The truck only has 34k so there's plenty of tread left but I'd like to get a new set so these OLD tires don't bite me on the butt!

I've had good luck with BFG but may give Michellin or Cooper a try this time.....

Had Michellin on my 1 ton when I bought it new, they did't make it 35000 miles. Replace them with BFG AT's ,those barely made it 30,000 miles. I have now put a set of Firestone Transforce AT's on it, we'll see how long they last. I rotated all tires at 5000 mile intervals and tow a 25 foot TT on occasion.

This is great to hear. I am having a set of General Grabbers AT2 replaced on my Tacoma at the dealers cost after less than 20K because of cupping issues that were not the result of a mechanical or alignment issue. I am having Cooper AT3's installed this week so I am hoping for good life out of them. They are rated very well.

Bridgestone AT REVOs. 92K and the only reason I changed them is I was tired of looking at them. They would have gone 100K easy.
