Broke in my new Ultra lite yesterday. Sunny @82 degrees Slow 12 shot sight in while breaking in 120gr BH209 250 Barnes expanders CCI primers Swarovski 4-12 3 100 = two in one hole I'll report back with the weight, but I guesstimate 7lbs and a few Ozs as seen/loaded. Oh yeah if you ain't tried a Tervis cup you should. It's on the table. Cold drink all day!

I finally got the scope on mine last week. Hope to get it to the range this week.
It is handy, no doubt about it.

Nice rig! I wish we could use a set up like that here in Nevada during the Muzzleloader Only season. We can't load them with BH209 and cant use scopes, only open and peep sights. We can use that FINE rig during the rifle (any legal weapons) season.

Knight sells it with #11 ignition and sights for your situation and will also fix you up with a bolt and breech plug for bare 209 or plastic jacket for about $90 more.

I have one of the very early 1990s Knight Black Nights in 54 cal that is still a good rifle. I've been using a TC Hotshot nipple on it and Pyrodex P powder. I always get good ignition with RWS caps; they're much hotter than the others available. My Knight is still up to the task; my eyes are not quite so "up to it". weaslesRus was kind enough to loan me his great 50 cal with a peep sight for this season. It's a tack driver!!

Be sure to lay in some caps well in advance of hunting season. They have been a little scarce at times here, and cost more than standard 209s.

Very nice set up.
The accuracy is no surprise.
After shooting most traditional and inline MZ's over the years, I've very fond of the Knight bolt platform. As demonstrated, they are very accurate, however, the best feature is that they can be completely broken down for a proper cleaning. I always disassemble the bolt and trigger group and bring it back baseline. It takes a few extra minutes but you know its stored right and will be ready for the next round.
The high quality fit and finish is just icing on the cake.

Knight guy here too, I traded off my last non-Knights a handful of years back. I have 5-6 Knight M-L's, mostly older versions in Elite and Extreme. I do have a new Mountaineer too.
The last few years I've been using a Knight Elite in 45 cal for most of my deer hunting, mostly IL. It stacks up deer as well as my centerfire rifles.
Since I'm a little picky about triggers, it's about impossible to beat a Knight trigger. They are easily adjustable, I'm usually about 2 lbs or a touch more.
I shoot Blackhorn 209 & break the gun down after use for proper cleaning, bolt apart too. I have a handful of Lehigh NPJ breechplugs I use. I didn't mind the plastic jackets, but go bare now.
I just sent off for my IL deer permit the other day. I'll be back at it in Nov.
