Hey everyone. Been a while since I have been on the forum, but I came across a 99 at a local gun shop that may be the right price. Just not sure what exactly I am looking at. Any thoughts/ ideas? and what value would you give it? I know its hard to say on the value question, but I am just curious. Lever code is "K" and the marking on the frame ring reads "SAVAGE - 1899 MODEL". Serial number 277XXX. Looking at a 99 with a swapped buttstock and d&t for impossible to find scope bases. Possibly originally a 99H from the forearm?
The one left of it looks much better.

Dang. Wish I could find one that has all of its original parts... The barrel on the other one had either been swapped or reblued and the rest of it is pitted pretty bad.
