I'm looking for a spring bear hunt. I'm considering Idaho because of the two bear option. Does anyone have a outfitter that they would recommend?

Look at Heavens Gate Outfitters out of McCall area. We went with him this spring. He's got a good area.

I live in Idaho County. Heavens Gate is out of Riggins, Idaho and would be a great choice except I think its a 1 bear area. For 2 bears try Kohls Outfitting out of Kooskia. I absolutely recommend staying well clear of Boulder Crk outfitters.

I thought of another outfitter. This is an expensive outfit but really good. Flying B Ranch outfitters.

Did the Shepp Ranch spring of 2013. Had a great time and it was a two bear area. Saw a bunch of bears missed a big one and got a small one. www.sheppranch.com
