I sold a barrel to someone on here and mailed it usps. According to the tracking they tried to deliver it to a totally different city than I sent it too. Now it says... "Your item was undeliverable as addressed at 10:52 am on July 3, 2014 in HIGH POINT, NC 27260. It is being returned if appropriate information is available".
The address I sent it to was not in High Point, nc. Anyone know what I need to do?

It should show up on your doorstep if you listed your return address. It happened to me before.

Call them. I had a similar thing happen a while back on a scope I sold here to Tanner. The tracking number said it was delivered to some random place in Utah, only it was supposed to go to Colorado. USPS said the tracking stickers sometimes come off in their machines and stick to other packages. We were patient, and a few days later the scope arrived where it was supposed to, although USPS said it had been delivered days earlier in Utah.

I had it happen when my dealer shipped to the wrong zip with the same city name. It went back & forth a few times before it got straightened out. Is your package zip correct?

I just had usps do the exact same thing to me ,and it went to NC when it was supposed to go to Martinsville ,VA the very next day it was rerouted to its destination point an received buy its buyer..The usps is getting bad now a days guys.. Its almost best to ship UPS anymore even though it costs more. But they don't have 1/8th as many screw ups,An when they give a delivery date you can exspect a knock on the door..

I just got off the phone with thim and surprisingly the guy was very helpful. He said it is still located in high point and gave me the number to the post office there. Said if I call them first thing sat morning I might can intercept it before it comes back to me. If not it will be at my house in a few days.

In the past year, shipping with USPS, I have had: > A two day letter take 12 days to be delivered, and the recipient had to pick it up at their post office after it had been marked "delivered" for 2 days, but no sign of it at his home. > A two day package that took about 8 days to be delivered. > A package that showed delivered in the wrong city per tracking number that eventually showed up in the right place.
Number of issues with UPS in our area over the past 22 years... Zero...
