Contrary to what some of you may think, I go out of my way to be a good host on those occasions when guests are here.

It usually works out because typically, the guests are attempting to be good guests.

Those that are here now are clueless.

They're gone tomorrow. *whew*

If they were here any longer, I'd get myself a hotel room.

Or,..I'd have a few giant economy sized drinks and call a cab to take them to the airport.

,... this crew won't be coming back to my house.

Guests are like fish, after three days they all start to smell...

I rarely stay at anybody's house when I travel. I know I smell after two hours.

reminds me of that old joke: how are dead fish and visiting family alike? After three days, they begin to stink.

Fugger been spongin' smokes offa me ever since he got here,..and that's cool.

I wouldn't begrudge anybody a cigarette.

Last night we partied,...got a buzz on,..and he decided to put his "quit smoking' campaign on hold.

This morning his woman is all pissed because I gave him cigarettes when he asked.

Then,...today,..I light up a smoke and both of them go outside because of it.

,...act like I just farted, or somethin'.

Tomorrow can't get here soon enough.

I'm too damn nice.

This is *my* weekend.

If I didn't have company, I would have spent the day stonkin' around the countryside on a motorcycle.

Instead,..I'm playing host to a couple of French Canadians who seem to derive pleasure from being fuggin' bums and looking down their noses at me.

,...never again,..

Take it to the bank.

I have guests right now. One is a democrat (lifelong union type) and I asked him if read books XY&Z.

His response was "I don't read", to which I responded "That explains a lot."

The plans were,..grilling steaks for dinner.

,..already bought 'em,...some good tenderloin.

The *ahem* "guests" just went for a walk around the neighborhood.

I told the wife that I ain't grilling "chit",...

Let 'em eat a can of pork and fuggin' beans if they get hungry.

I'm done, man.

If I can get through the evening without showin' my ass,...it'll be a miracle.

,...and I ain't all wrapped up in miracles.

I gotta get these fuggers outta here.

It's about to reach critical mass.

Get some Roman candles and drive 'em back up north.

I can sympathize with you, my wife has some good relatives, but they don't visit a lot. The ones that do, I would really rather not have around.

I got guests, too. Fortunately, mine are from KY and are hard working small business types. Aside from the fact that they don't really drink much at all, (and because my wife thinks I drink too much), it's been quite pleasant.

They all out on the front porch now,..swingin' in the porch swing,...settin' in the chairs.

My wife is out there with 'em,...bein' friendly and chit,...

It's done got beyond that fer me.

I ain't ever been here before,..but I am now.

I've always felt obligated to make guests feel welcome,...and I've never had guests that didn't reciprocate.

But here and now,..I cain't think of anything to make them fuggers feel less welcome than they already do,.....or I'd do it.

I'm gonna live my life without any explanation for it.

I'm gonna go ride around town without telling them why or where,...I'm gonna eat my damn dinner in silence,..then I'm going to go to bed.


,..and if the stupid sumbitches don't get the message,...it don't mean anything.

They'll be gone tomorrow at 1PM,..and I'll be gone sooner. I won't be here when they leave.

,...next time they call about a visit,..we'll have plans.

this morning i opened the bathroom door and my sons 17 yr girl friend was in there, all i can say is i wish i was 17 again.

I'll take a whole herd of crazy ass, partying 17 year olds over this bunch that I've got here now.

I've never had anybody come visit my house and spit in my face before.

I don't want 'em here in the first fuggin' place,...but I tolerate it for my wife.

But me and her had a talk.

,..told her,..

"This crew doesn't come back".

She obviously could tell from my demeanor that I wasn't playin'.

She just looked solemn and nodded.

I'm very close, man.

People need to watch what they say around me right now.
