Just picked up a 7mm-08 in the discontinued basic offering. The walnut is very nice and the rifle sports a 26" barrel, though being a single shoot if "feels" much shorter. Anyone out there own one? If so, how has it been for you? Thanks! Joe

I do and just took possession of another one for my son when he returns from Afghanistan. I have 7-08, 260 and 243 barrels

Prayers for your son's safe return. I know how that all feels; my son got a Kimber stainless .45 on his return.
Whatever else they do, the USMC teaches young guys how to SHOOT!
Was Mike Armstrong. Got logged off; couldn't log back on. RE-registered my old call sign, Mesa. FNG. Again. Mike Armstrong
