I have had this in my collection for a number of years, time to maybe let it go. It is a full custom with stunning wood built an a LH Husky action in 35 Whelen Imp. It has a 24 inch barrel and incorporates some really unique sights. First off it has a Griffin & Howe mount for the scope which is attached to the side of the action with pins. It is the quick detach model. Then it has a Williams rear peep sight mounted on the rear part of the action, and of course a front sight to use it with. The gun has sling swivel mounts such as I have never seen. Refer to the pic. The action is butter smooth and it was built by a local Gunsmith now passed, but whom had an excellent reputation. His name was Conlin. The G & H mount shows some use as it was probably purchased used by the original owner. A couple tiny marks on the floorplate, otherwise excellent. I have fired it a few times and it functions perfectly. It includes dies. Due to the unusual aspects of this gun I was unsure of how to price it but at the present I feel $1850 shipped conus from a non FFL to your FFL would buy it. If I had to go through an FFL it would be a few dollars more. Same with shipping to AK or HI. Anyone interested we can work out payment arrangements. The original owner that I bought it from said it was a Sako, it does have a Sako type extractor and what seems to be about a 70 degree bolt lift.

Believe me it's a husqvarna , Sako didn't make a round receiver except for Browning and only in rh short action .the bolt shroud and floor plate is a dead giveaway, yours is a very nice rig . I own 5 lh huskys and more sako's . The husqvarna writing is under the G-H mount . Gun is well worth your asking price!

I did not dig out all the brass I have but it is at least a couple of boxes. There are some loaded shells and I have shot a few, but since I did not reload them I am a bit hesitant including them. I could pull the bullets and include those cases though.

Always wondered why I only had the only Sako I saw with the safety on the left side of the bolt. Did find this stamp on top of the receiver.

Edited title to reflect "Husky". A couple of members here are sure it is a Husky. Again was told Sako but...I had never owned either before.

I have an identical action in 6mm AI built by the same gunsmith. It even has his name stamped on the barrel. I will say this is the first short action LH Carl Gustaf HVA I've seen for sale other than mine. I sure would love to know who made that stock as I need one for mine.
They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

This one also has Conlin stamped on the barrel. I cannot tell you who built the stock, but they indeed did a nice job with it. Also did a quick bit of research on the Gustav action you named, seems they are rare and prized. I am learning much about this gun, glad I posted it. May have to reconsider my selling it.
