Disagree with Edge because the rifle will become pretty barrel heavy and since balance is more important than weight, I vote for the standard fill. And not the McSwirly as much as I like the colors. The McSwirly stock is slippery. Get the stock painted. Their paint is pebbled and gives a good secure grip. Just my two cents.

Here is an Edge on an HS Precision .240. I got the stock, glassed it, filled the bolt handle slot, as their slot was too big. Then, I sent it back to McM for brown paint with black specks. Nice feel, great stock. This gun has a 26" bbl, but not barrel heavy. The 26 oz. Edge beats the heck out of the 46 oz. HS factory stock, which is a club compared to this one.
I ordered it pillared and to me, that's the way to go with Edge fill.
