If you only could pick one would it be In N Out Burger, Whataburger, or jack in the box?

I don't believe we have any of those in my area, so I can't say.

We don't have In n out anywhere close to us. When I first moved here about twelve years ago there was a Whataburger. I had never heard of it before that, and never went there. Then about a year ago I started reading and hearing (word of mouth) about what good burgers they have, so I decided to try it. Too late. Just months prior to that, I discovered, they closed the local franchise. I think it was a failure of advertising, because I never saw a single ad for it in all the years it was here locally.

You would think with all the time I spend in the US I would have seen one of the three of those places, but I have never seen not a one of them. Strangely enough my Granddaughter does not really like McDonalds or any of the fast food places really, and will complain repeatedly if taken to one, and she is not a complainer normally.

I guess I would too as I have never heard of any of these (I will assume) eateries.

Yup whataburger. With the influx of all the Kalifornians here they've opened 2 N and outs. Not impressed.

Jack in the Box, Sourdough Jack. It's my go to if I can find a Jack in the Box. Whataburger never impressed me, neither did In n Out and I lived in both California and Texas and ate at those places several times.
However as a connoisseur of fast food, the best burger available is the 6 Dollar Western Bacon Cheeserburger from Carl's Jr.

In n Out opened here and there was a three hour long line to get a hamburger. Now they have a chitload of them and I still haven't been in there. I'll take Whataburger. Make it a double w bacon, cheese and jalapenos.

Yea, I normally don't eat any fast food except with the occasional Chick fil let but I figured while out here in Texas might try one of these three burger joints since there not in my neck of the woods either.

whopper is a slop samich, what a mess. wendys and hardees have the best tasting beef in fast food. if i'm going to pay 6.00 for a burger i'll just eat lunch at a steak house. applebees has a pretty good burger. plenty of small town joints to eat a good burger where i live.

I like Culvers the best. Best burger on their menu is the sourdough melt double...
