Re 22, H4831, IMR 4831. Pretty much in that order with 140 grain bullets.
Otherwise, my standard 280 Rem hand loads using Re 19 and 140 and 160 grain bullets also works quite well.

For 162-168 grains I've been using Retumbo, but H1000, H4831 and IMR7828 have done well also.

RL22.
I tried Ramshot Magnum & 7828SSC but they didn't give the accuracy. Haven't chrono'd.

Rl22. No temp. Issues with it at all What testing have you done with it at various temperatures? I've always heard great things about Re22 except how it's temperature sensitive.

Bullets 140 grains and under H4350 Bullets 150 and over 7828.
At least that is what works best in my rifle.

I have shot max loads from 30 degrees to 75 degrees with no pressure problems or impact variations. I didn't chrony them at various temps, but if the impact did not change, I'm not worried about the number on the chrony screen

RL-19, IMR-7828ssc, and H4831sc...but the latter suffers a bit in terms of velocity.

In actual testing the inconsistency from lot to lot is greater than temperature variation induced.

I've tried Magnum and H1000 in plain-jane .280 Remington with 150-grainers of various makes, and the case just doesn't seem to have quite the needed capacity to get them to work any better than H4831. I've always thought that going AI would probably have the capacity to get them to perform. Maybe one day I'll rebarrel that rifle and find out first hand.
