Thanks folks, I'm either going to put a Leupold VX-III 2.5-8x36 that I've got here on it, or maybe I'll pick up a Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40.

Either are damn good choices, with my tastes preferring the Leupy.
There ain't no flies on that Zeiss, either.

Damn it I need another lightweight jacket with those same accessories you are going to get. That is a nice combination for elk hunting - my buddy gets right around 3000 FPS out of his with 180 Accubonds. That will look even better with a couple of scratches from hauling out a big bull.
