A lot of the older great actors were like that; him, Chuck Norris, John Wayne, Gregory Peck, Robert Mitchum, Jimmy Stewart, just to name a few. Most of the current ones disgust me with their "I'm somebody special" mentality. While it's true that all liberals are crazy people, not all crazy people are liberals.

He certainly had good taste in toys and knew how to have fun. James Garner's four place Indy car, so he could share his passion for racing.
