hate tobacco smoking but support marijuana?

American Lung Society says both cause cancer.

Good question. I don't have an answer.

I know that marijuana can be added to food so that's not smoking it. And just recently pocket vaporizers have been added to the mix and that's not smoking it. Beyond that I have no answer.

simple answer is liberals are just butt azz stupid. A more reasoned analysis though, would reveal that there is MONEY to be made by attacking and suing 'big tobacco', not so much when going after drug cartels in court.

Liberals/progressives are like women. Think about it the ladies will say they want a real man and end up with a pantywaste. Liberal/progressive thinking is identical to hormonal females thinking, neither makes any sense.

I'm to the right of conservative. I don't use either. In fact, I don't believe their is medical in medical marijuana. But if someone wants to smoke marijuana in his house, I don't care. It's not that I condone smoking dope. It's that I want big brother, nanny state, omnipotent government outta our personal lives.

I don't believe in prostitution. However, were a woman and an man to enter into a contract for prostitution, what business is it of government as long as the business transaction occurs in private among consenting adults in a bona fide business transaction?

Get government out of our lives! Government has become an unnecessary evil.

It's a complex answer, but as where conservative people usually use logic and common sense in their beliefs/decision making (in all things in life), liberals tend to use feelings and/or a moral (to them) compass in their beliefs/decision making.

A recent example of this is when an industry (I'm in Advertising) aquaintence posted a picture on Facebook of her with Nelson Mandella's grandson at some UN function, and the comments/replies to her picture were:

"What an honor", "such a great man", "your so lucky", etc. (all liberals commenting)

Now, I'm not saying this because of race, but I'm not going to run over to Neil Armstrong's Grandson and start fawning, but I don't seem to have the liberal mindset. This might not be the best example, but it struck me as weird.

Basically, I come across Liberals every day (I work in NYC), and while NY is my birth State, being a conservative sportsman in this city certainly makes me feel like I'm living in The Twilight Zone sometimes. 5-10 more years, and I can retire out of this place, God willing! -TomT

Same as many who claim to be conservative they support certain freedoms on one hand and on the other wish to deprive their fellow man of others.

Libs support drug use because they love freedom.
They hate tobacco use because they love being judgmental.

I am much more offended by their judgmental attitude than they could ever be by tobacco smoke.

They're no different than a good ol white boy "conservative" enjoying his cigar or pipe tobacco with a brandy while hatin' on a pot smoker.

Both have themselves firmly seated upon their pedestal looking down as if from a legitimate throne of judgement.
