Does anyone know if cabelas is limiting purchase quantity on 17's? I want to by 6 or so boxes tomorrow. AB

I saw 3 different types of 17HMR ammo at Cabelas in Allen, TX Saturday. Plenty of inventory.
There are 2 rules to success:
1. Never tell everything that you know.

My rifle only likes the 16 gr "green" ammo and the 20 gr HPs. For some reason, it will shoot groups no smaller than about 2 inches with the 17 gr V-Max ammo. I'm glad it likes the green ammo as I have to use it in much of this state.
Midway had bricks of the 16 gr green ammo and I picked one up last week. Just saying - it's out there if you look.
