I'm going to replace a bead front sight on a 96 "sporterized" Mauser with a partridge sight. The rifle has a Williams ramp and Williams receiver sight. As it is now the top of the bead sight is .250 above the ramp and that seems to be a good height.
So far I haven't been able to find a standard partridge sight that would be lower than .400 above the ramp. Does anyone make one? Thanks.

Perhaps a search for a Patridge sight would yield better results?

Pear tree's next. Already tried a search, .400 is the lowest I've found.

Might have to file or grind and then refinish. Did you try Brownells ? http://www.brownells.com/ They have GREAT customer service. Call them.
