While I'm no fan of fakebook, I do use it for getting my shop's name out there. A friend posted a video of FPS Russia having fun with a Glock full auto. He says it's a 17, but I thought, unless I'm wrong, the 18 is the full auto model. Here's the skinny: BKL The 17 is SEMI auto, the 18 is full auto. 9 hrs � Like � 1 Bill Good video showing why we need to control the size of magazines. I would hate to see some deranged kid in a school with such a pistol with a 30-round magazine. I am amazed that we haven't had even more carnage in schools. 6 hrs � Like � 1 BKL Actually Bill, already, this gun is only available to class 3 FFL holders, who will not be high schoolers. In addition a study of the details at Columbine show that magazine restrictions make little difference in a case like that. They only had 10 round mags. What we need is an end to unconstituional gun free zones. I couldn't disagree with you more about your conclusions though. The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun, is to keep the gun out of the bad guy's hands. 4 hrs � Like BKL More laws won't do that. Felons are already banned from owning firearms. Plus the majority of firearms used in crimes are obtained by, often illegal, untraceable methods. Not to mention legally owned firearms are used far more to save lives and stop crime than they are used for nefarious purposes. According to some studies over 8 times more, that's 800%. Punishing the law abiding 99.9% of gun owners for the abuses of the .1% makes no sense, as well as being directly opposite of the intentions of our nations founders, who, while not perfect, had some great ideas about governance that lead directly to your right to speak your opinion. I try to keep my FB comments limited stuff about new nieces, nephews, grand kids or scotties. Sometimes I stray..............and yes, I don't always get a lot of support for my views.

I try to keep my FB comments limited stuff about new nieces, nephews, grand kids or scotties. Sometimes I stray..............and yes, I don't always get a lot of support for my views. I am on facebook all the time, both with individuals and a couple of many thousand member associations. I love to post there, to irritate some of the few liberals that are on there. Great fun.

Same here i try and use it to keep up with family and friends far away. I do post or comment on a few political issues. I notice the libs and progressives are much quieter these days. Almost scary .

There are very few factory Glock 18s in the U.S. Most so-called "Glock 18s" are select fire conversions of Glock 17s performed by Title II manufacturer S.O.T.s as dealer post samples.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum. I do tend to fit in well wherever I go in person. The campfire is the most outside exposure I get. No TV, no newspaper.

I think Face Book is an incredible resource.
As far as I know I am not friends with anyone from the Campfire on FB, but if any of you want to friend me my name is Rick McNamara.
I post a lot of news stories that counter the tyranny trend, some original stuff in the same vein, pics of boats and kids and rural living. And now and then I pass on a good post about how to learn Linux.
