4350 and 4831 will work. I like RL 22 and Retumbo better. Best load for my 270 wsm was 150 Nosler Pt with 68gr Retumbo WLRM primer. Gun shot .5 with this load.

In my T3 I use norma brass, fed215 ,RL-17,and 130berger classic hunters. That load will shoot 1" at 200yrd at 3425fps in my Tikka. I haven't tried H4350 but would be about 150 fps slower.

I've had 3 different 270 WSM's and they liked H4831 & IMR 4350 more than Reloder 17, 19 or 22, and R19 was better than 17 or 22. MagPro gave awesome velocities with 140gr bullets but wasn't as accurate.

What would Porter Rockwell do?

I have had good luck with IMR 4831 but RL 17 gives me highest speed and best accuracy with any bullet weight.

I shoot 140's out of mine and have used R-22 but didn't get the velocities I wanted (3050 fps). R-25 gave me about another 100 fps and maintained accuracy. I could get 3200 fps but lose the accuracy.

Now that you have some RL22- I have a very accurate load for my .270 WSM, with 63.0 gr. of RL22 behind the Nosler 130 Gr. Etip bullet. MV is 3300 fps. Brass is Winchester, primers are CCI 250. Have only used it on deer at long range, but it works very well.

If you don't mind losing just a few fps, 4350 can be very accurate with the 130s and 140s in the WSM. RL 22 can do it all very well though if rifle likes it.
