Have Simmons .22 mag scope that came with rings/bases.
When I mount the bases that grab the grooves they are not seating
like my old bases for an earlier Tasco .22 scope. Are there narrower claw bases I'll need find ?
When scope is dropped into the rings it's 10 degrees out of line with the barrel regardless of how I alternate the bases.
Are the ones I got with the scope ( the claws ) just too wide ?

3/8" dovetail Rimfire tip off grooves in a receiver are typically .410 ~ .425" across the points. These types of rings are common.

Weaver mounts are typically .830" across the points. These type of rings are common.

My CZ527 is .635" across the points. These 16mm dovetail rings are hard to find.
