Like I think I have posted, so far I am looking at the 1.75" Swhacker, Slick Trick and the Steelforce Phathead. All are nasty, and I have 100% confidence that all will get it done. It comes down to whick will group best at up to 60 yards which I am going to start testing ASAP.

If you are still looking for a guide, My buddy Georgie and his dad George rock! They might even film it for you too. Steve Chappell seems like a great guy and they kill some toads. check out his youtube channel and watch some of the hunts for some tips. Almost forgot, Dennis is a hell of a elk hunter. I bet he might be for hire if he is still guiding.
As far as bradheads go, I like 90 grain 4-blade muzzy. you seen what that little head did to that muley at 32 yards. I was always told to go with 100 grainers by Duwane Adams and to stay away from mechanicals. However that was before the Rage and Swacker(sp) varieties came out and I have heard positive results. But im old school and would stick with a fixed blade for elk. FYI if it matters or not, the year Dave Holt was in Duwane's elk camp, he was shooting a 100 grain head. Being in AZ you know the shots can be longer than average.
kique Kique- If you are talking about George Garcia, he is a better elk guide than me- at least in the archery season. My forte is the late hunts but have done well on the rut hunts too. I don't know if he is a unit 9 guy though- hopefully Casey has long since tied up a guide or he is going to get a crappy one!

Of your choices I would pick the Steelforce Phathead. I am a big fan of the fixed blade cut on contact style of broadheads. That being said any of your choices will work given a broadside shot to the heart and lungs. When your shot is off or maybe the bull is not exactly broadside, I would want every advantage possible and that is going to come from the Steelforce head IMO.
