Looking great ND. Has the concrete been marked by either RWS or PWM? PWM has a hand print in the cement, RWS is waiting for a chance to smear some tire rubber off from a certain black firebird....

You coming up 94 or 10? If 10, I could possibly meet you for a cold one. Well I should have come up 10. Good lord the traffic was horrible. But the fishing was nothing short of fantastic. I've never caught so many walleyes so fast. EVER! It was like bluegill fishing but we were catching walleyes. It seemed one of always had one on the hook.

I'm disappointed in the lack of some and burning rubber in that pic. But a really cool car!

Kids & cars !!!
Just dropped Doug off in North Dakota, on the weekend, for 2 weeks of football camp, prior to College starting.
He tells me over dinner on Saturday night, "Dad, you can sell my F150 while I'm in School &, if you can find good one, buy me a truck with a Cummins Diesel" !!!!
Paul.

hey, i think i seen that car smokin' dave! does he have new rubber on it yet? I heard he had some coaching influence on that small town parade burnout? Someone about your height, glasses, dark hair... standing along the sidelines giving the whirly twirly signal with the pointer finger (international sign language for "burn em!") I'm still trying to figure out who it was....

On another note, I am a sucker for NEF Handi rifles. Gun show this weekend. Guy had a new in box .308 Survivor. Said he would let it go for dealer cost being he had ordered it for someone who never picked it up. I know what dealer cost is. He was correct in his figure. I came home with it. After I mounted a 3X9X50 scope it is in the safe getting acquainted with the other Handi rifles and assorted inhabitants of my gun safe.

Funny! Handi-Stan. Stan has more handi-rifles than I've even seen for sale. Good for you Stan, if you like them, use them!

I only have two handi-rifles, but I like 'em. The .223 will be used by my buddies daughter this deer season, and I got a few with the .44mag last season.
Simple. Safe. Short. What more can you ask for in a stand?

I DO like Handi rifles and I think it is because I like hunting with a single shot. It just appeals to me. My main deer rifle these days is a Baikal 12 Gauge over .308 which I just bought last year as a "one gun do all type of firearm". Got a nice 8 point with it last season. I could cover all of my hunting types with this one gun.

Okay, 'buckers...... I was talking to Tom yesterday, and the Buck Fever has all ready started! Anybody else getting the fever to do some Bambi busting? I find my self glassing the local hayfields and woods edges more and more each day. Fawns all over the place down here. 'Saw a coyote trying to put the sneak on a doe and twins the other day. Momma was having none of that and ran that coyote a good 200 yards across a field before returning to find her fawns.

Today is August 15th. and deer season starts in the lower part of the state in South Carolina. It serves to make the anticipation a bit more here in the upstate. Yeah,I am getting buckitis just like every year.
