Okay, after a lengthy break from archery, I have decieded to try it out again. Got my bow tuned up, installed a Whisker Biscuit Delux and a True Glow five pin sight. What I am wondering about is the easiest way to sight it in? I have notice that I am having a little trouble seeing the pins. Should I move the sights to a point which I can easily pick them up, then adjust windage with the rest? Glad I decieded to pick up the bow again, had a blast today. Can't wait till I get it set up good. Thanks in advance.

Whenever I install a new sight I always start out at about 10 feet just to make sure I'm not flinging arrows all over the place. Then I gradually move back, adjusting as I go. Remember to move the pins in the direction you want the arrow to go.

As far as you having difficulty seeing the pins, I've had the same problem in the past. One thing that helps me is making sure I have big enough pins. I used to use .019 but now I use .029 pins. Another thing that helps is using pins that are bright enough to see. I now use a Vital Bow Gear Trapper. The fiber optics actually have glow in the dark tape under them and once its been out in the sun, the pins will shine even in a dark room. Finally the third thing that helped me is using a peep sight big enough to let enough light in. I had to pass up a shot on a good buck last year because my peep was too small and couldn't see the pins. I replaced my peep sight the next day.

Id go with what Birddog1 said , but I would take off all the pins but one, and go from there.

Do all preliminary pin sighting at 20 yards:

A simple way to get on target is to sight your top pin in at 20 yds - then adjust your 30 yd pin to hit about 4 inches above the 20 yd arrows point of impact. 40 yd pin to hit 4 inches above the 30 yds group and so on. 50 and 60 yd pins may need a couple more inches, but will still be close.
Now you can shoot at each yardage and fine tune the pins.
Also, you always move the "pins to the arrow" when sighting in.

Next time you want to change sights or set up a sight for another bow - set the original sight on a piece of ruled paper and "map" where the pins are set. Adjust the new sight accordingly and your going to be close.

Shootb 3-4 arrows, till you start getting agroup, than start moving your pins.
