Ahrends makes some very nice stocks for S&W's that don't cost an arm and a leg.

I especially like their finger groove designs for round butt K frames

I stuck some of their finger groove stocks on an old round butt police turn in Model 10 HB and turned it into one of my favorite shooters.

Fuggin' finally.

Are those Eagle's "Ultra Ivory?"

I can't recall. I will look at the receipt.

If you order from Eagle you should know that "in-stock" means "3-4 weeks" which means you have to call at the two month mark and ask "Where the fugg are my stocks?" and then they ship.

But I will say they were apologetic and very courteous every time I called.

That's been my experience as well. Still better than working with Tru-Ivory.

All the receipt says is "White polymer aged ivory."

I had to dumpster dive for that information by the way...

I shot about 50 rounds out there this morning and I am lovin' it.

They are similar to the skinny slabs that came on K-frames ( I don't know what those are called) but these have more of a palm swell.

Last time I went dumpster diving around the house I found my long-lost bag of .357 Maximum brass. Gave me a new perspective on the enterprise Carrying that 29 in the EPS Tanker I sold you?

I sure as schit am! I love that thing. That holster and this revolver go together like gay and ingwe.

The old 29 and the Keith bullet is peas n' carrots though.

Elmer had a set of stocks (cept real ivory) with his face carved in them. Find a scrimshaw artist and put a 'flave mug on those puppies.

Even 'flave can't reach Keith levels of arrogance...

The guy basically came up with the M29, the Ruger Blackhawk and Bisley and the bullet the 29's like so much.....and he shared it all. Not arrogant.

Actually, he was pretty much like Stick without being Insult the Comic Dog.....
