Recently got my CHL and ordered a Crossbreed Supertuck based on tons of good reviews. Problem: It's comfortable and conceals well, but I have to cinch my belt up CRAZY tight for everything to feel secure. So much that it's very uncomfortable to sit down. There has to be a better way to do this.
Different IWB holster? Shoulder holster like the Kangaroo Carry Air Marshal?
Any help would be appreciated.

I agree, a good belt could make a difference.

I concur with the above posters. A good stiff belt will stop shifting issues.

I've tried 2 different 1 1/2" thick super stiff belts. Still have the same issue. Seems like no matter how tight I girt the belt up, my pants and shorts keep sliding down as I walk. Cargo shorts seem to be worse about this than pants. Maybe I don't have enough ass to keep them up.
Dunno....frustrating as hell.

What gun are you carrying? Heavy ones tend to be worse.

..since you have never carried a gun before my guess is that it is something you just are not used to. I've carried a concealed handgun just about daily for the last 46 years and now notice it when I don't have it on.
How tight your belt has to be for everything to feel secure is going to depend a lot on how you are built. When it comes to comfort there is no right carry method or holster for everyone.
It will all work out in time...

Could be the gun. Could be your build. Could be the holster in comparison to your build.

I had the same problem with the Supertuck. The Milt Sparks Versa Max II is the way to go. I carry duty sized, all steel, handguns using that brand/model, and never have a complaint.

there is no carry method that is as comfortable as not carrying at all. Carrying a pistol every day is something you just have to get used to. A good belt will make all the difference , but nothing will work like carrying a small lighter weight pistol like the Kahr or Light Weight Kimber 1911. The pistol i have been carrying daily for the last couple of months is the Springfield Sub-Compact 9mm in the CB SuperTuck, but my Kahr P9 is more comfortable and less noticeable

IWB holsters can be difficult for ahem, us larger fellas, to use. Perhaps that may be an issue. As my future bride likes to tell me..."You have no butt!" and with a lack of hips to hold a belt/holster rig from sliding down, it can be problematic. I use a heavy leather belt as well as a Wilderness Tactical "Instructors" belt with the stiffener sandwiched between the layers, and they work well. Good luck!

The suspenders by Perry and Dickie's work very well. They have the "X" in the back. But more importantly, they have the "J hooks" for the belt instead of the standard snaps.

Spec ops gear has some great suspenders that attach at the sides, not front and back, there is also no "printing" of an X. Like normal suspenders

As my future bride likes to tell me..."You have no butt!" and with a lack of hips to hold a belt/holster rig from sliding down, it can be problematic. Likely this may be the problem; not having defined hips makes it tough. Probably not a belt problem, per se'. MM

I have several IWB holsters for various guns. Probably the most comfortable one is from N82tactical.com It may not be as sexy as a leather holster but it makes up for that in comfort.
