My dog is going deaf and I need to make sure I keep him close this season. My old collar is not reliable anymore, so I'm looking for a new one. Between the two above, any experience, reviews, recommendations, etc.? Any other I should be looking at? Thanks

Sportdog collars are much better than they used to be. Can't tell you anything about a Garmin.

You couldn't give me another sport Dog Product. Matter of fact you couldn't pay me to take one!

If he's going deaf get one that vibrates.

I like TT but I don't think the Pro 70 vibrates. I have the Trashbreaker (same unit with longer range). It doesn't.

Had a Garmin tracking set up. It was nothing but trouble.

No experience with SportDog.
