People sleep peaceably in their beds at night because rough men stand at the ready to do violence on their behalf.

All PM's -emails responded to.
I was asked it this was an 'original ICON' and I'm not sure as my knowledge is limited. It appears that this rifle was made in 2008. The test target is so dated as is the copyright on a DVD that is in the box. The box and barrel all indicate Rochester, New Hampshire. On the owners manual it states 'Thompson Center' and then under that it states 'A Smith & Wesson Company'.
My limited research indicates that S&W bought TC in 2006, but didn't announce moving the production to Springfield Mass until late in 2010.
If anybody could add to this it would be appreciated.

Trades?
I'd be interested in...
Shotguns: Browning Double Auto (Standard or Twelvette), Ithaca Model 37 in 20 gauge, or solid/functional Winchester Model 97. No polychoke and stocks not shortened. My head can also be turned by the right Remington in 20 or 16 gauge; Model 11 or 48 series. Or a 16 gauge 870/1100
Handgun: Glock 17
Rifle: T-C carbine, preferably in 30-30 or .357
I'm not opposed to kicking in bucks for something better than what I have as long as the tape measure used to establish our values are the same
