hey all. I'm looking for both facts and 'learned opinions' from folks that have used this combo. i have several of the usual suspect powders available, but find myself with plenty of bl-c on hand, as opposed to running close to dry on the more 'fitting' powders like h380, 4320, 4350, 4895 - well, you get the idea.

if i was to go searching and change i would try and scare up some varget. but, like i said, i find myself with plenty of bl-c. Oh, 20", 1 in 9", target: feral hogs.

thanks

Hodgdon manual lists 3,109 fps w/ a max charge of 46.5 (43.5 start) gr under a 120 NBT.

Haven't used it in this cartridge, but my experience w/ that powder has been excellent accuracy-wise. Can't think of a reason, other than temperature sensitivity, why I'd chase another powder w/ so much of that.

Wait until Shootersproshop has 120 NBTs, buy 500, and go blast away.

No, no, no efw,
Leave a few of those 120's for me....(grin)

If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.
