Hammock worked excellent in the Western Washington high country. I followed some excellent advice and used an old 30* sleeping to make an under-quilt and carried another to use as a blanket. Spent three nights in it, with temps in the mid-40s at night, and I slept like a baby. Plus, I only had to haul 5 total pounds of 'sleeping gear' up 4000' vertical feet.

I used one for high buck in the Cascades as well.Very,very comfortable
