It looks like you can get an app for it that tells time!

Reminds me of my high-tech sister "speech texting" wherein you pick up your phone and instead of writing a text to someone ( ridiculous enough) you speak into the phone ( imagine that!) and it texts for you

Would someone please sneak up on me and kill me now!

NO!!!!!!!!

If for no other reason I can't read the damn thing. Plus the purpose of a watch is to tell time period. I don't text either. I stop using the telegraph key decades ago.

I'm sure I miss the point of it, but I don't see any useful application for me. I don't have a smartphone and guess I don't know what I'm missing. I see so many people missing the world around them because they can't stop looking at their phone. What the heck is it about a phone that makes them so addicting?

I might. But I'm not an early adopter. I'll wait until they're out for a while and see how useful folks think they are and what kind of battery life they get.

Think I would like to go the ohter way. I've been wearing a watch for years and carrying a cell phone ever since the bag phone. I'd like to keep wearing a watch but stop carrying a cell phone alltogether or carry it turned off and turn it on when I want to use it.

That watch is so gay.

I'm not a big fan of wearing a tracking device.

I still don't carry a cell phone.

I haven't seen one yet, but I'm guessing the screen will be too small for my old eyes, even with the retina display.

I would buy one if it replaces a phone.

Unfortunately it doesn't actually replace a phone, just moves the functions of a phone to your wrist, while you keep the phone in a pocket or pack or in the car.

No, but then I don't have a "smart" phone either and won't have one.

Then I don't want one.
