One thing for sure...he's the last choice, except for the lefties.

If Romney wins the nomination, I will not campaign for him. I will stay home and await the collapse/revolution.

Yesterday Glenn Beck said Romney would be a great president. I wasn't expecting to hear that.

Romney's and Paul's numbers are the same as when they campaigned in 2008. There isn't some secret support coming for either... They were losers in 08 with those numbers and are losers again.
Why they (especially Paul) are even considered in the race is beyond me... 25% won't win squat and a loud 8% is just zealots crying to be heard.
This was over for these two 4 years ago.

Republicans LOSE in 2016 because they are hellbent on regurgitating the SOS that's been percolating in D.C. for years. Why not draft a business owner from the heartland who's an outsider?? Oh, wait, Israel might not approve........

Yesterday Glenn Beck said Romney would be a great president. I wasn't expecting to hear that. Religion shouldn't be a factor but they're both Mormons. I wouldn't expect Beck to say anything else.

The problem is the Party picks the ones from a certain pool of candidates ..... But only the Political Elite need apply.... Outsiders are let to run for a bit stir the pot then are flushed by their own "Party" As for the anyone but Romney statement , that is how we ended up with the Community organizer in Chief.... You will not see people like Allen West or others make it to the top because the Republican party is so backwards they do not even see a problem...... The Demos, fix polls in areas they need to win and the rest of the country does not matter, Living in Wyoming, We have no chance of making a difference in any National election. The system is set up by the political Elite to maintain their position , they all feed from this machine and if an outsider tries to change it both sides gang up on them!

Interesting way to view the various rises and falls of the anti-Romney candidates. Link to Article I fail to see the relevance of this 2012 report from a source I've never seen before. I gather that the National Post is a Canadian newspaper? It is interesting how much dislike Romney generates. That is another thing I can't quite understand. Compared to other possible candidates, he seems to have considerably more integrity and a better world view. I wish we'd had him managing international affairs and I have no doubt that he could have done a far better job on domestic and economic matters too than we got. They're all compromises. We need someone who can get elected and do the job.

I held my nose and voted McCain. I held my nose and voted Romney. If more had done the same instead of staying home we might not have the disaster we have now. Staying home is NEVER the right choice.

Some of you should realize this was originally posted in 2011. I remembered this post, from days long past, and thought dragging it up would make stupid suckers cry in their beer. They could have voted Romney, but saved their vote and elected a queer.
