I agree totally, and this is why I have been critical of Subaru buyers for years now. It's a badge of liberalism, much like a Volvo was in the 70s and 80s. The company advocates for liberal causes and has made that bed strongly enough I'll dissuade whoever I can from hopping into it.

Actually I think luv2safari answered the questionthey are a visible sign of being liberal, which the gay community is.

I love seeing a good stereotype come true, and I get to see it almost daily here in VT. Typically they have the rainbow sticker on one side of the bumper and the coexist deal on the other, or sometimes they're pimping that loser Bernie Sanders and/or Obama. The reasonably attractive (confused) dyke is in the passenger seat and the ugly pig fur trader with short hair is driving. If I had a dollar for every time I've seen it I'd could afford to move to a more conservative state.

Actually, I think they're pretty well built cars that get decent mileage and hold up over time. But I'm a truck guy and I'd walk before I bought one, just based on the stereotype alone.

On one of the surveys sent to me by Subaru they wanted to know what recreational activities I was involved in. Hunting and fishing were two of the options you could checkoff. Along with photography, traveling, etc. They also wanted to know if traveling with Dogs would be a consideration that I would find important when purchasing a vehicle. Conservative/liberal were not one of the options to checkoff.

Like I said before some want to blame the manufacturer of the gun and not the user. Makes little sense with firearms or vehicles.

Silly coming from a guy that could pay for one with cash.

In all seriousness, if a company goes out of their way to advertise to a demographic that I find abhorrent, I'll not spend any money on them if I can help it.

Subaru has been catering to the phag market for quite some time.

Ford, GM, and Dodge would cater to em' also if they thought they could make some money doin' it...but Ford, GM, or Dodge aren't able to build a vehicle that meets their needs that is worth a crap and will do the things that Subaru's can do. Ford, GM, and Dodge are all about the money just like Subaru is...and if they could be as successful at catering to the aforementioned demographic as Subaru is, they most certainly would.

Like Travis said..."Subaru's are bada$$", and like battue said..."some want to blame the manufacturer of the gun and not the user. Makes little sense with firearms or vehicles."

What about the new Dodge half ton Diesel with the 28 miles to the gallon. Was by a Dealer and he was going to show me the one he had on the lot but could not find it as it was already sold.
He say they can't keep them on the lot. As fast as they come in they go out. Cheers NC
