Just found out my healthcare premiums are going to go up 40% next year, around $160.00 PER MONTH!!!
I personally would like to thank the likes of SAcharlie,NWA,etc, for putting Bam Bam in office. That is one hell of a chunk of change for us.
Probably going to have to go to the high deductible plan/savings plan now. No serious issues health wise now but you never know.
Hell, I might be better off just going to the emergency room like so many others. (Not really)

Our health care insurance at work just changed dramatically.
All meds and services with the exception of vaccines and an annual checkup are subject to a $2500 deductible before the plan contributes a dime.

Holy balls.
Wife's work covers her premiums and has a reasonable co-pay for most all services and meds. The kid has his own policy that is just under $200 a month. Again, reasonable co-pays.
We're somewhere around $5500 a year, assuming I'm out of pocket for the full deductible and no Dr's visits or meds.

I need to find something else other than this COBRA BS through AETNA that my company has. Not only are the premiums outrageous 5586/mo each, but it has a 3K cap with very little co-pays, so ostensibly, I'm on the hook for the first 3K. Incidentally, that is almost a leopard hunt right there...

that isn't hyperbole - two studies have confirmed that in the next decade the ACA is going to do just the opposite of its namesake - all insurance costs are going to go up.
Prices are artificially held down by a cap in place now that expires in 2 years. Just in time for the incoming president to take the blame

I don't know what everyone is bitchin about,our group policy only went up 24% in June with the deductible quadrupling.

I'm shocked that a "community organizer" from Chicago would create a National "Affordable" Health care system, that will double (or more) the premiums of hard working Americans, while giving free healthcare to the bottom feeders on the Govt. dole. Shocked I tell you!

I had a personal "catastrophic" policy on myself prior to the Democrat's health insurance company bailout bill of 2012. High deductible, since I almost never go to the doctor (been at least 12 years since my last visit). Cost $68.00/month. Got the letter from ins. co. saying the policy no longer meets regs and would be going to $394.00/month if I wanted to keep it. I didn't.
479 frikkin' percent increase.
