The "oops" was my way of being nice about your choice of a reticle and wanting to range with it.
In my lifetime I have made several decisions that did not exactly work out. Us working guys call it experience. The more refined types sometimes call it a frame of reference. One of my old hands used to call them a "f..k up".
Anyway, it is your money and your scope. Don't sweat the small stuff.
