I didn't know they made them in two-tone.

My friend just bought a Model 1895 saddle ring carbine made in 1921 for $500. Has the Lyman rear peep on it. Cool old rifle.

I've always been curious about the lever. Can anyone explain its design to me? Thanks, John

Any history on it? Has it been working in Texas since it shipped?

Very cool.

Man I love 1895s.... I picked this one up a while back and plan to kill a deer with it this year...

I would love to have one like you picked up... one day, I will find one like it... Great snag BTW
