Andddd if you've kept up with the adventures of Scenarshooter...theres very little arguing with what he has done with a .220 swift and regular garden variety 55 gr. Horns...

Besides a premium boolit slut..Im a .22 centerfire slut...if c-n-c boolits were all that I had..I'd be rockin' on...... grin

Go to the first post and get the handle of the OP. Look in the post and find a bunch of four or more character key words. Then do a search on that user name, using all the key words, and narrowed to the smallest date range that will catch the post.

When the search returns its listings click on the originator's entry. The beginning of the thread will come up in your browser, and it's address will be in, you guessed it, the address bar. Copy and paste the address into a convenient storage spot.

When a never tried it naysayer gets to blabbing, reply and copy/paste the address into your answer. It should light up as a link to this thread.

originators entry

When you do the search and get the list, that will be the entry corresponding to the poster who started this thread whose address you're trying to save.

You got the right guy and thread, but not the start post. Look for the one in the search return list that does not have Re: in front of the topic.

I'm just a premium boolit slut...truth be known...I wish swift A-Frame made a .22.... whistle

Yes..I have tasted the kool-aid... grin

I wish they still made the 55gr TBBC myself. I still have 1/2 box of the .223 and .22-250 Federal Premiums. However the 53gr TSX is pretty impressive! grin

I am loving these kill pics. I have never thought of the 223 as a big game round, but my thinking is changing. I used to work with a guy here in WI that swore by 223's for deer hunting. Him and his son both shot them and if I remember correctly, they shot Black Hills Ammo. They hunted with a few guys that also shot the as well. All "Big G" used to say to me about them was, try them, you'd be pleasantly surprised at what they do on a deer.

According to the FKIA's at TnDeer you can't kill a deer with a .223
DA set em straight about it

5 year old kids on youth hunts seem to do ok with that round.

Or maybe it's really daddy that's doing the shooting. "Muh 5 yr olt dawter put her princes collerin book down an shot that 140 class buck at 265 yrds. She got nervs of steel im tellin ya"
