Looking for a new 243 to give to an Army flight school student who is graduating next summer. In addition to being an Apache pilot, she's also the fastest (female) triathlete in the Army. She likes to shoot and has expressed an interest in hunting.

So... I can go a few different routes. I've had great success with Abolts (let the insults flow, I know) and wouldn't mind a new, leftover one as they aren't made anymore in 243. Or in a more 'spensive way either a Montana or 700 with a hunters edge.

For scope, in Talleys, am leaning 2-7 at the moment but haven't decided.

If you have something new, or like new, and wouldn't mind parting with it please let me know. No rush right now and seeing what's out there.

I'm currently OCONUS but have a retired vet buddy who can help out stateside with shipping when I find something.

Thanks!

I have that stainless SPS in the Remington Classic take-off with a leupold VX2 3-9x40 LRD in talleys that I'd shoot your way Tony. I'm not using it. Its brand new with only 20 rounds through it. Just gimme a call if you want it and we'll work it out.

I'm not an auto man but that BAR IN THE CLASSIFIEDS IS SANITARY. I'd put a L2.5-8 in matte on it and be proud of the present I was giving. powdr
