I'm tired of getting cold on stand, and I'm traveling to Missouri for an archery rut hunt and want some good warm thermal base layers. What does everyone here suggest?

This is what I wear on tree stands up here in Wisconsin...I did alright last year and last year was COLD... Pants liners Base Layer Wool socks, 1200 gram Cabelas boots, wool cable knit sweater. Cold weather gear on a tight budget. Same stuff I use doing construction here in the winter when it gets nasty. But when you need 4-5 sets of it a week, you tend to watch the price.

I don't always shoot Mausers, but when I do...I prefer VZ-24s.

Almost forgot, these are awesome for keeping you face and neck warm...I generally keep them pulled up to just below the eyes if it's windy.... Tube scarf

I ain't tried everything, but that's cause I drank the cool aid early on and bought under armour cold gear. Mine are the originals, and they plain work.
Whatever you get, I firmly believe compression fit helps increase circulation when you are sitting still on stand and helps keep you warm.

Thanks for the input, Cabelas is having a sale on their MTP Polar weight gear so I got that for about 1/2 price.
