I don't see beautiful wood with marbling or feathering near butt end just plain straight grained walnut.

I don't think it will sell at that price...
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I'm a lefty, too, and I can show you several RH'ed bolt guns I have owned over the years (and could many more), that I'd again purchase before I'd put 2 hands on this one. This is lefty gouging crap. Just IMHO.
I'll gladly do a reach over or a quick drop-down, thank you. Keep your overpriced, overdone $$$$ crap. Now, GFY.. Immediately..

I'd be totally shocked if he got a bid at that offering.. OTOH, you wouldn't believe what I got for a near-pristine LH M70 Classic stainless/walnut in .300WM a few years ago.. I didn't believe it myself until the certified funds arrived and I verified 'em..

Anyone else notice the add says "3006" but the box says "375H&H Classic safari Express"? Yet the barrel says " classic sporter"...
Let the buyer beware.

I think the guy has two different lefty 70's listed. I just bought a NIB stainless 70 in 270 Winchester today for 1,000.00.

A little much considering a LH '06 sold for $997 in July.
scott, was that a left hand stainless classic? If so, great find! It's the only one I'm lacking

Yes, it was the one I was lacking as well. This gives me a 30-06, 270, and 7 mag in stainless. I have 2 blued 30-06's, a blued 7 mag and a satin mag Cerakoted 300 mag. Have a 270 WSM an 7WSM in blued featherweights as well that might get the Cerakote treatment as well.

Nice scott. Where did you find it, local? Nothing popped up on my radar. I have an '06, 7mag, 338mag & two .300mags in LH stainless plus blue Super and Safari Expresses. The .270 has eluded me, although I've passed on a couple at ridiculous prices. If you ever come up with another one, I have an extra stainless .300 you "need". Actually been thinking about having one .300 re-barreled to .264WM, which IMO Win should have chambered for instead of, or along with, the 7mm.

tmitch, I have thought about reboring or rebarreling one of the 7mags to .338 mag or ? . I bought the 2 30-06's as I was gonna build a 270 if I couldn't find one. Also 338-06 or 35 Whelen come to mind as well. I am really pleased with the Cerakote job done on the 300 mag. It isn't as polished as the true stainless guns but mimics the Ruger finish.
