Awhile back I bought a .22 conversion unit for my Glock 19. It functioned OK with the recommended ammo, and was accurate, but shot 4" above POA at 15 yards, with the rear sight at the bottom of the elevation. I sent it back, and after a month, got a replacement. The new unit shot 5" above POA, so I called them, and a none too friendly lady told me they would give me a refund. I returned it, with a note saying I would prefer a unit that shot where it was aimed, and just today got a refund check in the mail.

My take on this is that AA feels there is enough of a demand for their products that they do not need to be concerned with customer satisfaction. For my part I don't feel cheated, just disappointed. I don't think it is unreasonable to expect for a gun, or in this case a barrel and sights, to hit where it is aimed, especially with adjustable sights.

That's a shame, as I would be interested in a .22 conversion myself for a Glock. One that could be suppressor ready, but not hitting exactly where the sights aligned would be a NO-GO.

THE CHAIR IS AGAINST THE WALL.

The Tikka T3 in .308 Winchester is the Glock 19 of the rifle world.

It was fired hand held, from a rest, with the factory recommended CCI Blazer and Mini-Mag, and Federal Automatch.

As the saying goes, YMMV.

I have a AA kit for my Glock 20. It too shot a little high and had to be sighted in with the rear sight lowered as far as it would go. But it's fine now.

One thing I have noticed about the Glock sights they use is if you line up the sights so that you can see all of the white dot through the rear sight you are not lining them up right and will shoot high. If you line them up like regular target sights and ignore the whit dot it will shoot to point of aim.

Aim point was with the top of the rear sight and top of the front post aligned. The dot was below the POA.

Wait a minute....

Is this a typo? Your rear sight was all the way up? Did you try moving it the other way?

funny how things work out sometimes isn't it. I have one of their conversion kits for Glock 27 that not only functions perfectly but hits exactly the point of aim.
