I've got one of these and they really are lightweight. Weight is listed at 2lbs but I would have guessed it is less than that. Any barrel contour will work (floated). Very comfy stock as well....even though it looks like a space gun. http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/product.htm?pid=8894&cat=1214

I've had one of those for a couple years now and they are surprisingly awesome.
I've yet to meet anybody that doesn't love shooting with one.

Everyone that has shot mine loves it. One note, you might have trouble using iron sights with it, doubt that David is concerned with that considering the .920 barrel....it's made for scope use and works well for that.

Couldn't conquer the fugly on those type stocks, so I have one Fajen synthetic sporter (.920 bbl channel) and one of the Fajen synthetic adjustables w/.920 channel. But weight was never part of the equation for me. Don't think they make the latter one now? Mine is a bit different than this one, only slightly less fugly but very functional and deadnuts solid for offhand.
If three or more people think you're a dimwit, chances are at least one of them is right.

http://www.victorcompanyusa.com/titan-1022.htmlI didn't know this existed till this evening so I know nothing about it other than what it says on the website. I don't see the weight listed but it does say that it's stiff. For $170.00 introductory price it might be worth taking a chance on. David,if you don't mind me asking, which .920 barrel are you going with? I'm guessing either carbon wrapped or aluminum sleeved since you're worried about stock weight. Dave.

Will also vouch for the Boyds Evolution. Everyone looks at it cross-eyed 'till they shoulder and shoot it. Speaking of Boyds, I just got in a stock for a Savage that I had them checker. They have some real interesting patterns!

Done some reading on RFC this evening. The Victor isn't a light weight at 3.1 ( I think it was) pounds but those who have them seem to like them. A lot.
Cool checkering tmitch. I like it.
Dave.
