That all depends on who's doing the reloading. Some of it is very good, better then the average factory stuff.

It's only worth the price you are willing to pay for it...but the same is true of everything

That all depends on who's doing the reloading. Some of it is very good, better then the average factory stuff. And some of it can also go the other way, ranging from inaccurate/unreliable to dangerous. 3D brand comes to mind after seeing their .45ACP 230gr LRN's lead my 1911 barrel more within a couple of magazines than properly alloyed bullets would do in several hundred rounds of ammuntion. Same companies .40S&W in a friends USP produced a distinct pop-bang similar to a percussion muzzleloader. Not sure of what company made them, but saw remanufactured .223 with improper neck tension set back round after round in an AR as well. On the flip side, I have had good luck with GA Arms and heard nothing but good about Black Hills remanufactured ammunition.

UltraMax ammo is worth the price. I prefer it, actually. http://reviews.cabelas.com/8815/212...munition-reviews/reviews.htm?sort=ratingI've shot their ammo for years. Mostly the 55gr V-Max, but others too. Never had a malfunction because of ammo. Very accurate too. Lots of customer reviews on it.

I've had very good luck with MIWALL Corp out of Grass Valley CA.
I prefer their SS109 to the standard mil-spec stuff. Their velocities are a little slower, but their accuracy is much improved.

I have bought, and used, a lot of remanufactured ammo by Georgia Arms. Very pleased with it.

Yeah, quality is quality, no matter where you find it. I even shoot the UltraMax stuff for competition.
