I've got an old pair of safari 8x22's. When I go to focus them one side moves and the other lags behind about an 1/8-1/4". I've had the things for I don't know how long. Is it worth trying to get them repaired or should I just replace em and be done with it? This is my only Steiner optic and I've had no dealings with the factory before. Thanks for any help.

Steiner optics have what's called the 'Heritage Warranty'. Basically that means that if it says Steiner on it, they will fix it or replace it, regardless.

Seems to me that it would be worth the effort to send them off and have Steiner take a look at them.
