Ravenr2; Thanks so much for sharing your hunt photos with us sir, I very much enjoy seeing where other 'Fire folks hunt. As a former horse hunter, I've got to say the photo of Mr. Grizzly through the horse's ears is a great shot.  I note that his ears are quite forward...... Whoa, come on Raven- where? N.W. Wyoming. Was a pretty fun day, took a couple guys from Tenn. deer hunting for a local outfitter. Saw 5 grizzles and rode past 2 of those at 40ish yards. The next day ran into a big sow with four 2 yr old cubs, it was a HERD of griz coming off the opposite hill. Thanks for the kind words

Nice pics, wonderful deer. When I referred to that sow Brown Bear and her twin two-year-old cubs on my deck just outside the sliding glass patio door as a "herd", my Nebraska sister said there was no such term. I told her that it was obvious she had never seen a herd of bears.....

I won't do this with a sow, of course but these singles don't want no trouble and are good as long as there isn't a carcass involved.

Nice Buck! Yeah, that horse's ears are sure forward in the grizzly pic. I'll bet he had the horse's undivided attention.
