I just saw a video clip of Hillary's statement. Yes, Hillary appears to have unintentionally outed herself as an avowed Communist.

I can't believe that anybody considered a political leader in either major U.S. party would say something anything close to this:

The Repubs need to start hammering this clip in commercials. I don't know how many people in the U.S. remember much about Communism since North Korea and Cuba are basically the last holdouts on that failed form of government (China is under socialism now), but I'm sure the Repubs could find numerous immigrants who lived under Communist regimes to tell how bad conditions were under Hillary's favored form of government.

One thing that is interesting, but not surprising, is how similar the leftist elites in this country act to how the political elites in the Soviet Union acted.

She was trying to make the point that supply side economics don't work, and she picked the absolutely DUMBEST way to try to make that point. Because not only did she make a dip-chit statement, unless you're an economist, no one caught the point she was trying to make.

what else is new with this Clinton Whore, she is right, her job wasn't earned she killed or payed someone to do it for her, and cheated her way to where she is today

Anyone awake and interested knows the Clinton story and their utter dependence on the government for attention, careers, sustenance, etc. - everlasting suction on the taxpayer teat.

I doubt that she even understands supply side economics but she worships at the throne of big all-powerful all-intrusive government and knows how to dupe the ignorant.

They are the supremely arrogant, vain, morally superior, super intelligent elitists who believe firmly that even though communism has failed everywhere, THEY will do it right THIS time.

Everyone seems to think that big corporations benefit from having republicans in power, that's not really true. Corporations do pretty well under democrats too, so long as they have an in with the ones in power which they get by giving them money. It really doesn't matter what a politician like Hillary says, that's just for public consumption. What really matters is what they do and that's all done behind the scenes. The democrat vision for America is a ruling elite with a permanent underclass that's hooked on government handouts. They really don't want a traditional middle class that's capable of sustaining themselves without massive government subsidies, the government paycheck keeps them hooked and voting democratic. There's a lot of money to be made by serving an underclass like that if the big business plays it's cards right, hence all the contributions to democratic politicians.

You two evidently aren't paying attention. This thread started on Friday, not today. After being busy all weekend, I saw the video clip (hint: video clips aren't seen via radio) on a TV news program this morning and found a thread that discussed Hillary's speech instead of starting a new thread. The issue is still pertinent today because we're in the middle of an important election (for states with early voting) with "election day" next Tuesday, and the person espousing Communist views is likely to be a candidate for President in 2016.

I'm the one who brought the thread back to the top today, and I have no idea if Rush had a segment about Hillary's comments today because his program is in the political "entertainment" genre, and I don't tune in to political entertainment because politics have been so depressing over the past several years.

Businesses don't create jobs, demand does.

Well if the Republicans put Mitt in there, Hillary is a sure thing.
