Brother in law picked up a M&P in .357 Sig. Mississippi Highway Patrol commemorative. Says he got a great deal, and it came with three magazines. He called today to tell him the gun shop in Granada MS where he bought it told him that the North Carolina HP switched to this pistol recently, and experienced a high amount of kabooms with it. Has anyone heard of this? I have not seen anything, and it seems bogus to me, but you never know.

That decision may not be a reflection on the gun, as opposed to the sales lobbyist.
Especially in NC.

I'd take a Sig over an m&P any day. I love both my p226s

With the exception of the 2 piece trigger design, I like the M&P's, they're good pistols. If he extractor issue ever came up in your BIL's gun, a barrel swap turns it into a .40.

They'd better step up their practice of stealing folks' money and valuables through asset forfeiture in order to pay for their replacement guns.

If he extractor issue ever came up in your BIL's gun, a barrel swap turns it into a .40. he has probably over 150 handguns at the house. Stacks of Glocks, Sigs and others. I don't believe he bought this one as a keeper. Gun show trading material is my guess. I'm trying to get him to part with the two three screw Ruger .44 mags, in the original boxes, never shot. Consecutive low serial numbers to boot.
